J.C.A. Huang

Prof. Jung-Chun-Andrew Huang received his B.S. degree in Physics Department of National Taiwan University in 1985 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign (UIUC) in 1992. He got his associated professorship and professorship in National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) of Taiwan in 1992 and 1997 respectively. He has been a Distinguished Professor of NCKU since 2003. He had been the President of Physics Society of Taiwan from 2010 to 2012.

 

He is now the Vice President of Taiwan Association for Magnetic Technology. Dr. Huang authored or co-authored more than 180 peer-reviewed papers mainly in the area of thin film epitaxy, magnetism and surface science, with a recent focus on 2D materials and topological insulators and their related advanced devices for spintronic applications.
